  • Biography (Short Version)

 

Due to the impressive performance with great impact and appeal, Shenzhen Senior High School Lily Girls Choir was very active and popular in international stage in recent years. They have won numerous awards in International choir games including the Grand champion of “Johannes-Brahms-Chorpreis 2007” in the “5th International Johannes-Brahms Choir Festival & Competition”; the first prize for Children’s Choir competition and “Biggest Fans” award in the “36th Tolosa International Choral Festival” in Spain.

Lily Girls Choir was founded in 1997 and comprises of 11-17 years old girls from Shenzhen Senior High School.

The choir was invited to perform at the “ACDA Conference 2016 Eastern Division” and “The IFCM World Choral EXPO 2015”, so as invited performance at first Chinese Choral Director National conference. Hold the special concerts in John F. Kennedy Arts Center Millennium stage for twice.

The choir has successfully cooperated with many famous conductors and symphony orchestra.

 

 

  • Biography of ConductorHu Manxue

 

From 1990-1997 Hu taught at Jiangxi Normal University piano department and presented a recital in 1995.

From 1997 she became a faculty member of Shenzhen Senior High School and was a founding member of the choir. In 2005 she pursued further study at conducting department of Central Conservatory of Music, learn after Prof.Yang Hongnian and Chen lin.

In October of 2010, Hu became the conductor of Lily Girls Choir, after that she brought the choir exploring the board area for arts communication especially performance in official visiting to North Korea and Serbia. In 2011, the concert tour in Beijing national concert hall, Shanghai He-Luting concert hall, Shenzhen concert hall has won big success in China; she brought the choir to participate the 8th world choir games in Latvia and won Golden prize of grand prix in Music Contemporary category and female chamber choir category.

She has adjudicated at the “Ⅳ International Choir Assemblies EURASIA CANTAT”. In recent year, she was invited to give the coaching and workshop for many teenager’s choirs individually or in public. Besides the extremely busy schedule on music field, she also actively participate in many public charity activities.

She is selected as one of the “Ten recipients of the Excellence in Teaching Service” and “Outstanding woman representative” awarded by Shenzhen municipal government.
